Our names are Lukáš and Dominika. We both come from Lučenec, hence our name “Origin”. After living together in Switzerland for a few years, we decided to come back home and create something together that will serve the community that is very close to us. and at the same time showcase our passion for gastronomy, which we have both been involved in for many years. That is why we decided to open a restaurant where we want to share with you our culinary expertise. We believe that the combination of our love for gastronomy and experiences will bring to our hometown a place where people meet together to enjoy great food and a pleasant atmosphere.



Lukáš worked in Switzerland for over a decade, where over time he found his passion for fine dining and worked his way up to the position of sous chef at a Gault & Millau awarded fine dining restaurant. His greatest achievement was 4th place in the Marmite youngster 2023, a competition for the best young chefs in Switzerland. During his time in this country, he had the opportunity to connect with various chefs, including Michelin-starred ones, from whom he learned a lot. This motivated Lukáš to build his career as a chef, with a philosophy to improve his knowledge and skills in gastronomy every single day.



Dominika graduated in economics and management of tourism businesses at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica and after her master exams she immediately travelled to Switzerland. Her first steps in this country led to Lucerne, where she completed a course provided by the Swiss Hospitality Academy at the Business and Hotel Management School. She worked in the gastronomy and hotel industry for 5 years, in that short time Dominika managed to achieve the position of assistant manager, which included running the hotel and the hotel’s restaurant.
